What if Judaism were not just something to study—but something to feel, inhabit, and
live?
Embodied Judaism is a 14-week journey into the living heart of Jewish spirituality.
This course weaves together a rotation of incredible teachers steeped in Renewal,
Earth-based, and ceremonial Jewish traditions—each bringing experiential teachings
that feel ALIVE in the body and heart.
In recent generations, many Jews have inherited a version of Judaism centered in the
intellect, often focused on rules and archaic images of God. Writer Rodger Kamenetz
once described this image as “an old man in the sky saying no.”
Yet something is shifting. In the wake of expansive psychedelic experiences, ancestral
curiosity, and a longing for authentic connection, spiritual seekers are returning to
Judaism with fresh eyes, hungry for a Jewish path that actually resonates.
Judaism has always been a path of intimacy, devotion, creativity, and love. Embodied
Judaism recovers that lineage. Through music, movement, and breath, participants in
this course will explore the core elements of Jewish life in ways you didn’t learn in
Hebrew school. We’ll uncover the spiritual and somatic magic behind Jewish ritual,
prayer, mitzvot, calendar, theology, and text.
The course puts Jewish practice in conversation with contemporary paths of somatic
practices, ecological awareness, creativity, psychotherapy, altered states, mysticism,
and global wisdom traditions.
Embodied Judaism welcomes participants across the Jewish spectrum—curious
beginners, those returning with fresh eyes, and those seeking a deeper, more
personally resonant relationship with Jewish spirituality. At its core, Embodied Judaism
is an invitation into direct encounter – with Jewish wisdom, ancestry, and the Divine.
